THE BUDDHA,MAHAVIRA AND GANDHI.

We can find the concept of ahimsa, non-violence (ahimsa) as a concept in the philosophy of religion, but the Buddha, Mahavira in the 6th century (pp. TL) and Mahatma Gandhi in modern times has brought to this concept of a deeper meaning. Yogadarshana of Patanjali[1] see ahimsa as one of the five morals (yama) weak relation, together with common sense (satya), stealing (asteya), clean (brahmacharya) and do not own (aparigraha), all necessary for spiritual work. Also show that the concept of morals in the front the Yoga of Patanjali. And the Buddha and Mahavira had stressed the supreme power of the spirit of ahimsa by declaring that ahimsa is the highest stress (ahimsa pramo dharma).
By the Patanjali's Yoga, one can achieve miracles by the spirit of ahimsa. All hatred will no longer exist where a person in that person's life is firmly established on the basis of ahimsa. We found the concept isn't hatred (nirvaira) is up again in the teachings of the Buddha and Mahavira. Data from (maitri), in its positive aspect, was set out as a noble purpose. While Mahavira's philosophy comes to feel free from all species of living and not enmity with any one, the Buddha to the life of Jesus, the Rising, was a journey of from (maitavihar). Ahimsa, is applied to the action, that is compassionate to all and not hatred.
Philosophy of religion-like Mahavira and the prophets (tirthankara) to him preach a general conception Anekant, where it's said that there is a truth in every ideology and no one has the right to claim to be the only one to hold the truth. This could help form the basis for a process of reconciliation of the conflict of ideologies, the possible way of life and culture, etc. There is a reconciliation, bringing an end to conflict and war is impossible. Have an interesting quote in the Vedic experience of war: Mam satyam yuddham -when people start claiming that his own truth, war happens.
Compassion (karuna) and is the heart of the Buddha Dhamma marrow. no compassion, then there can be no social justice. Compassion is one of the heart and the capacity of fair and proper actions to help bring social transformation, peace and tranquility. Avoid these two extreme and follow direction Centre helps individuals and achievements taken peace for themselves and for their lives.
Violence, a backbone of myeloma in the lives of those who seek spiritual, the Saints and the prophets, the Holy Gandhi brought from the snowy caves of adaptation in the life. It became a powerful weapon in fighting for the freedom of India, against the British Empire. It also became a powerful means of bringing social change. For the first time in the history of mankind, a spiritual concepts like ahimsa are applied to solve different problems of human beings. This is an extraordinary contribution of Gandhi for life, by offering new ideas to develop a kind of political violence, economic violence and a violent social order. Taking the concept of Daridranarayana by Swami Vivekananda,[2] Gandhi was an inspiration to thousands of people got help those poverty, those who are trampled and who were ousted from power by a spirit of reverence. He also added a new dimension to that concept by making it become a means to fight injustice and bring to a progressive change in the society. He also attempts to seek the causes of the violence and try to eliminate it, in order to establish real peace.
For him, the respect for the equality of all religions is a matter of faith, and is also a way to set up co-operative society. At the end of his life he said that "truth is God", to be constructed on a deeply spiritual experience. We are suggesting to the Buddhist philosophy of emptiness when we find the letter there (sunya) in which a prayer inspired by Gandhi. He wrote: "let my life became nothing." History has witnessed the surprising success of the philosophy not (shunyata) in the place where the explosion of creativity in the Ajanta caves, where the caves are located in the Gobi desert and in the place of the Buddha.
The concept does not own (aparigraha) of Mahavira is a symbol of life, have become more sophisticated in the hands of Gandhi. For him, the excess property is also violent, and so he believes in reducing the desire by the voluntary, to match the contemporary environmental issues. Gandhi once said: "mother earth has enough demand for all but not enough for greed." The protection of consumer interests creates excessive exploitation of the natural resources and the environmental crisis. So the advice of Gandhi to voluntarily reduce usage to become relevant for today. The message of the people have is: "Say Yes to the needy, saying no to people's greed."
Gandhi also build up the concept of Sarvodaya (good for all). Later in the show that this concept is found in the ancient capital of Canada. Good to all, not just for humans, but also for all other life. For Buddhists, with all the goals, and ahimsa is the way of life and the way of compassion. And the Vedas say: "Would the world look at me with those eyes, when I looked at the world with the eyes of a friend."
