countries, on the way industrialized. All are focused on economic development, that is
more interested in income production and Drug neglecting the development of a
spiritual and moral direction. Career development was tied to the heart of human
craving and attachment gave the world the hot war, cold and social crisis,
ethics and the environment, etc. contemporary alert us to the dangers of collective
destruction caused to the nuclear war, chemical, and because of the pollution of
land, water and non air.
Many other values of
contemporary education should be reviewed and should be the teachings of the
Buddha light, such as:
1. Competition
issues:
Civilization of the
twentieth century built on the foundation of competitive spirit. Westerners for that spirit
to help them rapidly developing economy and culture. But really it has caused
many crises as mentioned. So, the spirit of competition should be
reviewed.
This competition is an
effort to win others, while the main problem is how to better his own yesterday
as the Buddha's teachings:
- 'If a man win a million troops in the field, and another winner himself, he won himself the greatest winner in the winner'. (Dhp. 103)- 'Win yourself better win everyone else; whether God, need-it-Ms., Ma along Pham-natural also could not win the victory himself, who has always lived self-control'. (Dhp. 104 - 105)
2. Educational issues only human society:
Economic and industrial
development requires education to the attention of human society, while an

5. Education for a lasting

Peace is the absence of
war. Science
in school history only refers to the historical events and the external causes

be able to help people build peace to the world.

teaching, the basic cause of the evil of war, greed, hatred and delusion.

9. Human
theory:
Human theory is the key of
