A MINDFULNESS BRINGS RELEASE.

Have a friend visiting Sravasti Abbey monastery and has given us the use of board retreats to remind the students. In the table to drink she wrote, "Please wipe down the seats. Thank you for your mindfulness." Where the doors, the board stated "Please close the door gently. Thank mindful of you. " I began to wonder, if she said mindfulness is to mean anything here! It seems that the word mindfulness (mindfulness) is now becoming a very common words caught the ears hear, the word karma as such, but very few users really understand the meaning of it.
Then I had the opportunity recently read an article about eating an orange in mindfulness - paying attention to the sweetness of it, its composition, and the experience of eating it. In a legal conversation, I hear people use words to describe mindfulness an experienced observer sat her children were playing and felt happy that moment. Another re-use it to describe the sense of his presence in the present moment: "I can be aware of our anger is starting up. I can be aware of his intention to say anger . And I'm totally in the present moment, fully mindful when I say these words " And we also heard about the application of mindfulness to help people cope with chronic pain.
Although the examples I just presented, there are few cases where the application is grounded and the benefits of mindfulness, but are they really put us to enlightenment reasonable? We have to be something right with notion that the Buddha was not presented in the classic, when mindfulness is an essential element on the path to liberation?
Mindfulness is a word very convenient for the West today, but the word "let go" (renunciation) is not! Signature detachment brings with it the image of a person in a deep, dark, tasteless food, a family living alone, and not the TV, iPod, mobile phones, computers, refrigerator or credit card. In the consumer culture of ours, then let go as a path to suffering. And like mindfulness , the term detachment also misunderstood in the West.
Buddha is defined like this: let go of a desire to be free, free from dukkha , the unsatisfactory situation and suffering of samsara. Letting go does not mean that we reject happiness, which is to give up suffering and its causes.
Because that's what we are clouded by ignorance, so we seldom clearly aware of suffering pain and its causes. And the ignorance of how to respect a clear vision - not avoiding, not to deny, or defend themselves - for their circumstances, that is just the truth of what is happening. There is mindfulness. This requires a very sincere attitude of us, it challenges our notions of ourselves.
In the business icons of the island , Vipallasa Sutta of Anguttara Nikaya IV. 149, the Buddha has said that about four mistakes, the basic assumption of our experience. They are known as the Buddha saw four crazy , so things are looking opposite to the truth of them. Four crazy seeing it:
1. Is often very common in: capture and impermanent as permanent.
2. In the suffering that is lost: to believe that things in life, that our nature is unsatisfactory or suffering, will bring us happiness.
3. In the impure that is pure: to see what is not pure beautiful and attractive.
4. In the ego-self that: holding on to things that our nature is selfless and without essence.
In Thinking Permanent Impermanence
This morning when you wake up, you may think you've aged a day and is also close to death one day more affordable? Although we know that the reason his body is old and weak to go in each every moment, but I think deep in the body will still be sustained forever and death will never come to you - or less it is also very remote. This attitude is an example we find ourselves holding on to this body as it is often, as lasting forever. And also, we see their relationship as fixed and when a loved one who has died, I felt shocked and surprised. We want your family will be forever beside him and held him tight to hope.
And we can learn how to deal with the impermanence of life a very gentle way. But first, we need to see the wrong in their perception of what is commonly thought, is sustainable, and can be aware of the changing nature of people and things.
The puzzle is Bliss.
Whatever gives us pleasure also gives us problems: a spouse give up our ideals, beloved children argued that, new jobs and also promoted increased working hours and stress for us. Rotation of the pleasures of life just to bring us all down to another disappointing, but I still find it again, thinking that was na y it will give us a happy longer. We also like a gamble, believing that last game will give us a large fortune. I like a name of a cigarette addicts waiting for the next.
With mindfulness you will see the this crazy Monday. We will see that most of what society has taught us, and what we pass on to their children about happiness is not real. A true happiness can only be sustainable it is, by eradication of the causes of suffering - the emotional mind and later actions (karma) as they promote.
In Real Purity suspected.
We pursue and attached to the appeal of your own body and that of others. "Body beautiful" is one of the things that we all have the same recognition. But if the body is so attractive, why do we spend so much waste of effort to change it? We find every way to make your body look better are: dyed hair, more or less weight, wear clothes that highlight parts of the body. "Keep the child forever" is one of the industry the greatest trade in this country. But if we live in harmony with reality, why? All of us are old . What can we learn to live happily with wrinkled skin, with silver hair, with weak muscles to be reasonable? Old age must first terrifying, but the mistakes that we make it so.
In Thinking Self-Soul.
Another misconception is harmful attachments and have a real one in this body and mind. We think and feel that we have an "I" was, and it is a "me" the most important in this universe - my happiness is most essential, and the suffering of my need to be addressed first. We imagine a picture of someone and then just determined to live according to his illusion. And most of our thoughts about her is completely wrong. Our nature is not ugly, beautiful, talented, inferior, lazy, ignorant, intelligent ... or any good or characteristics that make you feel inferior for their assignment.
And not only do we think we have one of the "I" is real and sustainable master body, mind and life, but we also believe that other people and things around us have a real be like that. We are confident that everything exists exactly according to their external appearance. And they also believed that those who are our enemies, they are by nature evil and wickedness. We go stealing and protecting what belongs to her . Because not see the changing nature and no entity of all phenomena that so many afflictions and suffering were born on. And then from there we were the emotions like anger, greed, anxiety, lazy ... error handling and master my life. All because we also have to grasp what it is not real and true.
Thanks mindful of four that was wrong and crazy - impermanence, unsatisfactoriness, and selflessness impure - that we are aware of the suffering brought by them and give them voluntarily. And that detachment . Mindfulness to take us to let go.
A mindful that gives me a courage and ability to go against the habits and customs of his autism. Looking around, I see people who like me, everyone wants to rid ourselves of suffering and wishes to be happy. And from that sincere wish to help others generate up. Aware of the happiness brought help from others, love and kindness will arise in us. I feel a very close contact with everyone, all species, and we wish to be purified and converted all their own suffering - to become a Buddha - so that we can help other more fully. And by the way that lead us to righteous path of liberation.
