Method Nianfo "Meaning rosaries."

Question: As a practicing Buddhist dharma Buddha, often times the rosary to recite. However, the interesting fact is you do not understand its meaning like. Why do the strings of 108 beads, but not 107 or 109? Thus, the 108 mean? And why the Buddha, hands should be on strings? It has nothing to eradicate the defilements?
A. rosary is a means of thousands of other vehicles. In Buddhism there are countless facilities. Any form of gas or physical measures are the means. However, there is a reason that it is laid out. Of course, each form of an object has a special symbolic meaning of it.
