CHAPTER 1.PRECIOUS HUMAN LIFE.

So life is fleeting and ultimately unsatisfactory as it oscillates between good and bad experiences, that is, between happiness and sadness that we seem unable to control.




Life begins at conception and ends with the process of "disease and death," or any accident leading to death. Body and consciousness exist together in harmony when we are still breathing and body warmth. When the breath stops and no warmth, spirit and physical form separately, and of death. REAL HUMAN NATURE




Body is not truly human being, which is just the inn, where consciousness or our mind dwell for a time. Consciousness will continue to regenerate with a different body and different identity depending on the karmic past. Destiny of our future, whether good or bad, depends on the temperaments, habits of thought and emotion, and way of expressing verbal habits and actions.




The true nature of consciousness or "mind" is wide open, and not pure. It is the qualities of harmony, joy, omniscient and perfect. Virtue is called "enlightenment" or "Buddha nature". Buddhist Sanskrit is called "Buddha" means "Enlightened One". Everyone has the Buddha nature. Intellectual mind is really no dualistic thinking, which is self-limiting nature, life experiences division into subject and object, "his" and "others". The very nature of mind is "omniscient", saw all at once and "duality", and is the single most boundless. In the "realm vacuum" of us, not only the mind or intellect, but also infinite space and time infinity.




So why do not we all know of our self? it is because of the sincerity of mind has been covered by the familiar dualistic concept of intellectual capital distinction always distinguish, compare, cause brain troublesome emotions, desires. However, despite the emotions of greed, hatred, ignorance, jealousy and arrogance, your inner wisdom mind we still pure, that is still pure and suffering.




To explore the nature of mind, we must faithfully and diligently practice meditation. We must recognize and meditate on the right view, right thought, right feeling, right belief and righteous lifestyle. There may be those who think mind nature and rigid attachment, can not be repaired. Can we claim to have sunk deep into bad habits so hard to build ways of thinking, way of looking and feeling good. The truth is that our mind is not a fixed strain. It is not a single object, such as an iron bar, which is a series of constantly changing moments, like a necklace is 'time' from the particles to other particles. The purpose of meditation:

Bliss and compassion that we generated through meditation will be a good place for those living in realms intermediate body relax and become more confident, calm and joy. Meditation is a way to help this creature better than the wandering thoughts and feelings of our common, because it arises from the deeper and more peace in our mind. At least rational, many of us know the importance of meditation but they ignore or do not practice meditation. The reason is that we know but have no interest to practice. So how to get excited about meditation.




There are two basic types of incentives to meditation: the first one is inspired, the second is fear. Life is a rich source for these two types of incentives. For example, having an extraordinary teacher can be inspiring event for us. Or it may be events such as illness, death of a loved one, or a great tragedy occurred as the tsunami disaster in South Asia and Southeast Asia make us wake up and properly commented on life.




Buddhism urges us to think deeply about the nature of life in the capital as well as inspire us fear:


- There are moral life is precious


- Life is impermanent, constantly translated


- The events in life are good or bad karma


- The life of pain


- Life has the potential to reach the highest goal.




These properties are not fake, that is the truth about life. Previously we did not know or do not care about them, but now we pay attention to the dynamics of this practice. At my monastery in Tibet, every morning we start meditating in the contemplation of this year. We do not need to meditate and contemplate on them that we can think about them at anywhere and anytime. These will help us to know the true nature of life, leading us into the lead, and inspire us to cultivate and maintain Buddhist life.




Life is hard:




Life is so precious because it is the foundation of our construction practice not only of this life but also for all the next. Lifetime opportunity for us to achieve enlightenment, to experience true peace and shines to bring these qualities to benefit all sentient beings. If the realization of his true nature, the universe will become a source of happiness for us, and we also become a source of peace and harmony to the universe.




If we recognize this valuable opportunity and understand the value of life, we will immediately feel and appreciate life. Gratitude becomes determination not waste a single moment of life and dedicated his life for the benefit of all its possibilities.




Let us examine how much of life on this earth this extraordinary opportunity, because when it came out so we know how lucky I was. Looking around we will see a multitude of living creatures on earth. If you flip a rock up, we see hundreds of insects crawling underneath. Looking through a microscope, we see numerous organisms in a drop of water. Alone in the bowels of the billions we have germs. According to Buddhism, every human germs also are found consciousness and happiness.




In addition, there are a lot of live that we did not see. Like all other traditional cultures around the world believe that there are unseen creatures such as gods and demons. Buddhism also believes that there are countless species of creatures invisible to our eyes, that these creatures exist among us, at the point where we were sitting and breathing. The reason why we and other creatures that did not see each other and not interfere in each other's lives, because we and they have no causal contact with each other to generate an awareness of each other.




But in the life of living beings and inadvertently this vast and wonderful, men have the greatest potential to achieve enlightenment, because we were inspired, rational and efforts to reach out and go way that the mind linh.Trong when animal species living in hell and suffer and lack of reason that we can not get an enlightened qualities at all. The gods of longevity may be lucky than us because they have light body beautiful happiness and everything, but they do not have the bittersweet experience to cause suffering motivation and ability to find enlightenment like as our species, which are too immersed in their pleasures.




However, human beings in the world, we find very few people tend or intend to seize this golden opportunity to practice and attain enlightenment. Many people today do not believe in belief and religion. Many people do not know anything about the potential of his mind, including some who have high intellectual level. There was an intellectual who told me: "mind is a fungus that grows in the brain."




Many people are too busy living life jacket and rice disease or indulged in pleasures that do not make time for spiritual development. Others have used up their capacity to achieve material success and reputation of the world. There are those who tend to have a little spiritual, but not the right path, for not having been properly enlightened master or instructor and chose wrong values. Thus only a small part humans have the opportunity to grow spiritually.




Buddhist teachings set forth the conditions ideal for spiritual development, which is eight and ten interest free.




Eight of freedom is:


1 / not born in hell


2 / not born evil hunger


3 / not born in the animal species


4 / not born of natural realms long life (in this world do not have the opportunity to practice)


5 / not wrong


6 / do not commit acts of barbarism


7 / no nihilism


8 / not born in the place without a teacher of enlightenment appeared




Ten benefits are:


1 / to be born as a human


2 / have the five senses


3 / genuine occupational


4 / where Buddhism was born


5 / born where enlightened teacher


6 / catechism teacher enlightenment


7 / teachings that still exist


8 / have faith in the teachings


9 / practice of teaching


10 / with the guidance of a teacher






Thus, there is rarely enough all the 18 above-mentioned ideal conditions. In Buddhism who meet these conditions shall be considered a precious human life. But no matter how many things, we should celebrate because I had those things and take advantage of them. And we also try to achieve what you are missing. If such recognition, we would never dare to waste this precious opportunity, and sooner or later we will understand the precious human life is peaceful and enlightened vacuum.




If not seize this opportunity to make their lives meaningful and transform it into a precious human life we can not say that I will have another chance in the future. After all, humans have sharp minds in the living being, but also the most powerful emotions, so we're very vulnerable to emotional appeal and do things wrong could lead to rebirth the lower realms. Reviews Master Shantideva said, " it is difficult to make people with good conditions. We have a chance to achieve the noble goal of life, but if not take advantage of this opportunity, how to get another chance? "




Life is impermanent


Death is a subject to achieve the best focus the mind. Reflecting on the death and the impermanence of life, easy to feel we must urgently take advantage of their precious human life. We all know you will to death, but we do not know how I'll be dead. We naturally see my life is going long, but in fact we live only when the consciousness still remain in the body. The combination of consciousness and body are easily destroyed by such things as illness, accident, medicines, food, housing, recreation, friends ... all can become lethal.




Life seems to be a continuous existence, but it is a series of ups and downs in every time. The stages of life and death as continuous alternating day and night after another. In each time, the transformation takes place in an endless life, like beads in hand continuous line from particle to particle to another.




Everything in life, like nature, friendship, wealth and status, are changing. He says: " the three realms of sex gender, gender identity, gender are immaterial, are impermanent like autumn clouds. Life and death is spinning like a dancer. Life is like a lightning fast through the sky ".




Tempe Guntheny Dronme told that there is a sudden roamed the mountain slopes down. Many of us know that, at least at the level of reason. We also know that death often comes unexpectedly. Use of impermanence to eliminate negativity:

The impermanence of anger: understanding impermanence makes us more tolerant. The impermanence of desire: the desire a person or a thing, we must think about the impermanence of the objects. Young people become old pretty bad right before our eyes. If we pursue worldly sights are only deluding yourself. " All worldly pleasures


All pleasures in heaven

Joy of freedom from craving. "

Our mind becomes open rather than attachment, instead of letting go hold on, calm instead of chaos and harmony instead of conflict, rather than conscious indifference or love and wisdom instead mistaken. So we must be grateful for impermanence, because thanks to it that the sufferings of life will end if we practice diligently, and then the household will be able to transform our lives into the precious life.




Life is governed by the law of causality:


One of the most powerful driving force of the practice is know that you will get all the karma of the industry body, speech, they have created. This is the law of karma.




The concept of causal law has become so popular in the West, but many people think that means that the causal network or a certain kind of punishment but of course one has to accept. Sometimes when people have complained about unfortunate, "perhaps this is his karma."




Think that's a mistake, because first of all cause and effect not only mean bad, but want to cover all intentional acts, bad as well, causing suffering and happiness.



Second, cause and effect, karma or karma, is not fate or destiny, nor is the punishment by a certain external factors imposed on us. Karma we have created for yourself. In death, we can only bring your karma. Everything that we enjoy in this life must be left behind. He says:

Wealth, relatives, and friends can not follow him

Karma is a factor unique provisions of our rebirth, because the next life is the effect of these trends appear industry in our minds. He says:

Our karma is not only related to the industry itself but also collective (industry) as well as private industry (industry specific). Individuals defined career and life of human individuals. Collectives is karma that we share with those who have a certain respect for you. As close to others, the more we share much with their results. Collectives is why many people share life and similar ideas. So, by creating good karma, we can help improve the overall karma of the people. The more diligent practice, the more we contribute many benefits to the industry to create this community well.




Thus, for himself and for everyone, let's try to understand in detail the law of karma and retribution.




Industry is the root of ego:


Industrial (Karma) are intentional acts arising from their intentions. Thus care has major role in creating professional and capable of creating professional results.




Before we reach the enlightened mind, karma is a fact of life. We create professional when objects are objects of consciousness entity actually exists. Created career like?


Industry was created when the mind of our attachment arises a craving for the object is an attachment or anger arises. Both the preferred and non preferred, making the heart stronger attachment, and thus leads to greed, hatred and delusion, ie three disturbing emotions or three malicious. Three bad karma of the body: (1) killing, (2) stealing, (3) evil mind. Four of the mouth is bad karma: (4) lying, (5) say divided, (6) say cruel, (7) say nonsense. Three of bad karma for are: (8) craving, (9) and anger (10) wrong.




Ten deeds as opposed to the 10 mentioned above karma. Three deeds of the body: (1) protect the lives of other creatures, (2) giving, (3) not evil mind. Four of mouth is good karma: (4) say sincerely, (5) mediators say, (6) loving speech, (7) say makes sense. Three of the idea is good karma: (8) tolerance, (9) and compassion (10) right view.




The most important single factor in the decision to create good karma or bad karma is the motive or intention of karma. Grand Master Tsongkhapa says : "like magnets identity, intended to make subject to the mind of thoughts attract good, bad or neutral." If our intention to blend the good bad good bad career well blended. If the intention is neutral, we become neutral karma, the karma born neither good nor bad and not reborn in higher not lower.



Sometimes we see good people suffering under a bad back and happy. Why? the answer is because the consequences of these two people are not ready. Each of us has created a wealth of industry in countless past lives. Each of our actions are recorded in stealth mode function (alayavijnana, Alaya consciousness, consciousness contains all the experiences of human life). Museum official function as a neutral state of mind, not active, unconscious, and are the foundation of life cycle experience. So bad people are enjoying life success is now enjoying the results of the past that good karma, good people that are suffering receive the karmic consequences of the work they created in the past. If we stop and purify negative karma, we can transform, reduce, or eliminate them entirely. A powerful deeds can erase many negative karma. With the stronger motivation, more pure, wholesome of all our more imposing force. We should not underestimate the attention generated by the industry. Buddha also taught: " Do a little good, the next life will enjoy greater happiness, greater achievement intentions, just like the good seed will help lead to the harvest season . "




The reverse is also, a big karma can weaken or dissipate the good karma.




Motivation is most important, but the strength of a career that also depends on whether it has been created through four stages work well or not. For example, an act of generosity. First of all we need to have something for charity, is a v é t giving. Then we need to have the motivation which is absolutely critical factor. Thirdly, giving the performance. When animals received alms to charity then to complete. An action these four stages is a whole industry created work and will bring to the karma karma.




Causal chain of the industry are limitless. A professional person may produce more retribution. A professional person may produce many different causes and conditions. Upon receiving a consequence, we planted several new causal. Every aspect and every moment of life is produced and maintained by a network of causes and conditions, that is, all things are connected, produce and interdependent activities.

Karma is true of life, but the ultimate goal of us is beyond the karma. This happens when we reach a state of perfect enlightenment and no ego anymore. Life is fantasy?
