The great significance of Vesak Buddha attached to the message of peace and humanity of God. " Buddhism has become a major force in civilization wherever it goes to. It attracts those who prefer ham reason and freedom of thought and recognition of human dignity and potential of the human mind. It calls for equality, friendship and understanding, exhorted Buddhists avoid evil, do good and practice retreats. Recognizing transient nature of life and of all phenomena on earth, the Buddha advised us to diligently seek the path of liberation because that is the way of immortality.
