INDIA: The dome of the Mahabodhi temple in Bodh Gaya will be inlaid gold. On 1-8-2013, the Governor of Bihar, Mr Nitish Kumar, said that the dome of the Mahabodhi Temple 1,500 years old - Temple most sacred Buddhist capital was rocked by a series of bombings in July at Bodh Gaya - will be gold at the request of a pilgrim.
Archaeological Research Board of India (ASI) has approved upon request of a person talking on a Buddhist pilgrimage to the terms and conditions of the dome to decorate Mahabodhi temple with gold.  
following series of blasts last month, ASI findings confirm that no damage what the structure of this temple.
Mahabodhi Temple is a World Heritage Site by millions of pilgrims from around the world visit each year, most are from Sri Lanka, China, Japan and Southeast Asia.

UNITED STATES: Exhibition "The Art of Dharma" in New York From 8-8 to 23-9-2013, Tibet House New York will exhibit the works of calligraphy and paintings Tibetan Buddhism titled "Art Dharma "Jamyang Dorjee artist.
This is the first solo exhibition in the U.S. of Jamyang, although his works are present in private collections worldwide.
Jamyang was born in Lhasa, West Tibet, later as senior officials of the state government of Sikkim, India and the Tibetan government-in-exile.
Currently he works for a non-governmental organization called Conservation of Art and Culture of Tibet, and holds the record for creating the world's longest calligraphy scroll.
Jamyang's work can be found in the private collection of the Dalai Lama, actor Richard Gere, the master Lodi Gyari and Lama Zopa and others.

MALAYSIA: Nalanda Buddhist Society opens outreach center in Johor Baru city of Johor Baru, Malaysia - Recently, Nalanda Buddhist Society - a center of Theravada Buddhism are recognized in Malaysia - inaugurated the Education Center and Access Community Nalanda (NEO) at Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Baru city.
event also coincides with the 10th year anniversary of Nalanda Buddhist Society, a non-profit organization Government was established in 2003 by Dr. Tan Ho Soon.
David Yap, NEO president, said that the information on the transmission of knowledge and wisdom to achieve the comprehensive development of man. He said the NEO Center is looking for volunteers to tutor courses for children from poor without distinction of race or religion.
2-storey NEO Center, open daily from 9 to 11 am , with the chanting on Sunday morning. The center provides accommodation for monks and have a current library, hall, meditation room and the training room for volunteers.

INDONESIA: A temple in Jakarta was bombed
A bomb has exploded devastating low at Buddhist Centre in Jakarta as a Ekayana injured. After the explosion late on 4-8-2013, Indonesian police have found an unexploded bomb at the other centers.
director Sutarman police said the bomb blast could crash and cause low temple was not damaged.
5-2013 In May, police arrested two Islamic militant suspects accused of planning an attack on the Burmese embassy in Jakarta. Police said the suspects are seeking revenge for the attack Muslims but they declared that 200 people were killed in Burma, Buddhist country majority.

After returning, the artist will "connect multiple threads of the journey the art-experience interaction, including documentary films, publications, installations and works performed live. "
