- Dhammapada.
Introduction
D considerate ancient Indian tribe is known to have been cast more un sage and eminent teachers, each have a different viewpoint on life and life goals. Business Brahmajâla Sutta (Brahma) of the Digha Nikaya (Agama School) recorded all sixty-two different philosophical doctrines most prominent at the time.
A radical views in contrast to the religious movement then annihilated by doctrine, or the comments, the advocates of live material, also known as Carvakas, named after the founder's doctrine.
According to this doctrine of ancient material - Pali and Sanskrit are called Lokayata - human postmortem completely destroyed, leaving all the capabilities found in life. According to them, death is the end, is the end all. Only the world's current practice: "Eat, drink and enjoy all the pleasures, because death comes to all," as the ideal form of this system. For these people, "morality is an illusion, only the practical pleasure. Die's the end of life. Religion is a foolish aberration, a mental disease. Having doubts all that is good, noble, pure and compassionate. theory advocated satisfy their lust, selfishness, and coarse confirm obscene willpower. Needless to control passion and instinct by because it is the legacy of human nature. "
Some other viewpoint holds that only strict ascetic life can lead one to liberation. It is purely moral doctrine that the ascetic of the time strongly advocated. Five men in the bodhisattva servant in the successful fight to stroll through this component belongs to.
before they attained unsurpassed, the Buddha also practiced in accordance with its mandate and close to all forms of austerity. After six years of fighting an extraordinary way, he said that the ascetic way indeed useless. He therefore changed the method, according to the Middle Way. In the closest disciples saw him lose confidence, give away and said: "Magi Gotama (Gautama) has returned to his luxurious lifestyle, has been trying to terminate and return to the life style amenities rich. "
the unexpected leave is clearly a lack of material importance to the Buddha as before, in the devoted care aides and support him in all essentials. However Bodhisattva did not lose heart. In contrast, the iron will be more powerful, the more he can delight in elaborate more diligent effort alone. With unabated zeal and capacity to recover, he patiently and diligently until its successful Enlightenment His ultimate goal.
First sermon of the Buddha
's first sermon Buddha called Dhammacakka. Sanskrit is often translated as "the Kingdom of Truth," "the kingdom of righteousness," "Wheel of Truth". According to legend, the term Dhamma here means wisdom or understanding, and cakka is established or strengthened. Thus, Dhammacakka is established or strengthened intellectual. Dhammacakkappavattana is "Exhibit A Consolidated Intelligence". Dhamma means truth and cakka the wheel. Therefore, the Dhamma-cakkappavattana is "Fortifying Shipping or Wheel of Truth."
In France it is extremely important way to spread the Buddha called the "Middle Path" which he had discovered, but also the essence of his teaching. Opening Sermon, the Buddha advised the five men, alienating both ascetic practices of the avaricious and extreme asceticism since both can not lead to the absolute state of peacefulness and Omniscient. Avaricious delay spiritual progress. Austerity reduces intellectual impairment. He criticized both because he himself lives in a positive way and that extreme experience that neither lead to the ultimate goal. Then he would trace the extremely practical, reasonable and useful. This is the only way to totally clean condition and absolutely free.
meantime seated Buddha at Deer Suppose, Isipatana, near Benares.
intelligent five men of them - have coexisted with Bodhisattva uninterrupted six long years - is the only beings in the context of France at that time was hearing. Business books that have recorded large numbers of invisible beings, and beings as gods Brahma, also admit this golden opportunity to listen. They believe that outside this world, there are beings in other realms, and the physical body (identity) of the beings that subtle to the human eye can not see, and believe that at the time Devas and Brahmas can text the rare opportunity, to listen to the Buddha's First French. However Sermon clear direction about five priests.
At the beginning, the Buddha taught us to shun the two extremes. The spokesman's statement:
"There are two extremes (anta) that the ordained (pabbajitena) should not rely."
Buddha emphasized two word "anta", is the ultimate, the outrageous, extreme or extreme point, and "pabbajita" who renounced the world, cutting the loving cup, home person.
's right in that the Buddha used the word, an extremist is constantly craving, forever mired in sexual senses (kamasukhallikanuyoga). The Buddha described this extreme as vile, vulgar, profane, unworthy of the dignity and aimless saint.
should not understand how the Buddha means the desire for all believers to abandon all material pleasures and secluded retreat into the forest, not enjoying life expectancy. He does not like even to narrow.
Dau people have virtual sensuality is how one knows for calm reflection, physical pleasure is short-lived indeed, not until it has been fully satisfied and only lead to unfortunate consequences. Referring to earthly happiness, the Buddha taught that collect lived assets and asset gathering, the two sources of delight from lay people. However, in the true level of interest is not found in the pursuit of transient pleasures most of the time. Sometimes people marveled, could not understand why people stay away from his practice. Sources happiness of a class who may be alarm bell for others, and for this category was the only ordained rejection and alienation from worldly happiness.
contrast to avaricious, extreme there is a persistent effort in the path of asceticism (attakilamathanuyoga). This radical critique - that the practice is often not possible - the Buddha taught that this is a painful method, does not deserve the dignity of the saint, and pointless. Unlike the other extreme which he described as vile, vulgar and profane. The removal of the three lists is remarkable. So often, these men are only honest determination to abandon all attachment to sensuality in his new self-discipline to succeed suffering complete liberation from the troubles of life. Buddha experience themselves practices of that suffering. He described it as useless, to increase rather than decrease pain.
Buddhas and monks Arahat called Ariya, meaning Precious Ones, Holy. Thus, the term vile (Anariya, inferior, negative means Ariya) can be resolved is not the virtues of the Buddhas and monks Arahat, who beyond all desire.
attha is ultimate goodness, compassion Pole, for Buddhists, it was Nirvana, integrity escapism from all depressing. So the word useless (anatthasamhita) can be resolved as "not lead to Pole Compassion, Deliverance."
First, the Buddha clearly illuminate the problem and unravel the misconceptions of those who are listening to him instructor. Until the heart of this vibrant became ready to perceive, Buddha recounts his own experience of the two extremes.
Buddha taught that He (Tathagata) aware of the mistake the two extremes should follow the path in the middle - Middle. Act, or the new path that he himself had discovered. Buddha called this new system is Majjhima Patipada, Middle Path.
To convince five disciples should pay attention to this new path, he lectured on the benefits of it. Unlike the two extremes, the middle way in bringing spiritual enlightenment and intellectual sanity, to see the truth of things. When the spirit is calm and clear mind is opened, all things are revealed in its true context.
Moreover, unlike the two extremes mentioned above, just stir passions, this Middle tame the lust for material and thus, lead to four Noble, thorough understanding of the Four Noble Truths, and finally realize the ultimate goal, Nibbana.
now, "Middle Path" is the path like?
The Buddha answered: "That is the Path", spending eight road and he told her that in all eight elements of Zhuan Falun.
first factor is Right Understanding, the key point of Buddhism. Buddha started with Right View, understanding true for all doubt break of five men and guide him in the right way. Right view refers to the understanding of themselves and they really lead to Right Thought, meditation is not true virtue attachment or rejection, renunciation (nekkhamma samkappa), kindness (avyapada samkappa), and nature moderate (avihimsa samkappa), the opposite characteristics selfishness, malice and violent nature. Speech, speech is true, Right, righteous deeds, and Right Livelihood, true network feed, as three factors to moral perfection. Friday factor is Right Effort, righteous efforts, related elaborate eradicate bad mental state and develop good mood. The purification process can be done by careful fullness look back inside yourself. Therefore Mindfulness, Saturday element, indeed essential. Diligent collaboration with Mindfulness, Right Concentration created, ie your mind dwell on a single point, especially breakfast, is the eighth factor. Interested in an office like the glass is cleaned and polished everything clearly reflects honesty, not distorted, not overshadowed.
beginning of the teaching of the two extremes and the way "Middle Path" that his examination break, the Buddha preached to the Four Noble Truths, the four Noble Truths, with many details.
Sacca Sanskrit, is the truth, what is really there. The word Sanskrit (Sanskrit) is equivalent Satya, an event not argue anymore. The Buddha mentions four such Truths, the Truth and the four (Four) is the foundation of Buddhist philosophy, closely related to the so-called beings. therefore, Buddhism took human-centered, people-pillars, as opposed to the divine religions get centered. Buddhist inward, not outward. Oil Buddhas appear in the world or not, the truth was still present and a Buddha only discovered it by directly receiving, and taught the world to still be ignorant screen. Truth is truth eternal, immutable and can not be modified duration. Buddha himself realized the truth of this and not have the support of anyone else, and he was clearly noted in the text, Zhuan Falun: "For the law did not previously heard, vision, knowledge, wisdom, sense of wisdom, insight knowledge, and light, Tathagata arises. " The noun is clearly very significant because it shows the original characteristics of the new teachings which he had found. Because it can not prove the hypothesis holds that Buddhism is a natural level of maturity of Hinduism, although in fact there are many similarities between the two religions.
Pali this is called the Truth Ariya Saccani (holy truths, or Noble), because this is the truth was discovered by the Buddha, the saint's (Ariya) greatest, totally clean and completely purged from all infection box.
Noble first (DUKKHA) refers to dukkha - a difficult Sanskrit translators are correct - that is often referred to as pain. Stood in terms of feeling, "du" is hard, "kha" is to endure, "dukkha" is what makes it difficult to tolerate. Understood as an abstract truth, "Du" What is despised, not worth grasping. "Kha" is nothingness, emptiness. The world is full of suffering and in so despised, disgusting, not worth cling. The world is an illusion, not a real cost, so the world is nothingness, emptiness. So, nothing is dukkha, not worth cling.
Ranks usually only see the outer layers of the material. But the saint realized the truth of things.
regard to the saint (ariya) life is suffering, can not live without suffering, for he saw that there is no true happiness, sustainability, in a magical world, temporal, can only disappointment for humanity.
Everybody suffer birth (jati), and thus age (jara), disease (vyādhi) and ultimately death (marana ). No one can escape this suffering four sources.
thing that is not desired achievements are also suffering. So often, we do not want to live with the thing or things I did not like but did not want separation from the object or loved ones. But, it aspired not always be fulfilled as expected. In contrast, the negative circumstances or the little heart desires the most, when it comes to our very suddenly. Cases similar adversity become unbearable and painful even to some weak character and poor understanding of suicidal thinking to life, death seemed to solve all the problems of suffering.
Hanh true happiness lies within us, and can not be defined by such terms as property, career, power, fame, or conquest, invasion. If the above were collected by violence, abuse of power or unjust, wrong dimension or direction, or view the attachment, it will become the cause of suffering or sorrow.
A conventional, average, just enjoy the pleasures that life, and that is noble, is the only happiness. In the sexual gratification, certainly the happiest time as expected, enjoy the life, and when he recollects the pleasures. But it is only temporary and illusory. According to the Buddha non-attachment (viragata), or reach beyond their physical pleasures is nobler happiness.
summary, the main body is made of this (pancupadanakkandha, coordinated by aggregates) is responsible of suffering.
Having three kinds of craving. First, coarse form of craving is craving the sensual (kamatanha). Second Life is attachment (bhavatanha), and the third is attachment status unborn (vibhavatanha). According to the commentaries, the following two types of craving is craving pleasures of material related to the belief that the universe is eternal everlasting (sassataditthi, usually is) and attachment related to the belief that after this life is nothing, nothing left out (ucchedaditthi, the reviews). Bhavatanha also means that the sphere attachment and attachment in Vibhavatanha is Formless, because Aruparaga (lust hangs upon the Formless) is also seen as the two guys end (samyojana, rope bondage, being in column samsara).
Craving is an extremely mental faculties strong, always latent in each person, and is the chief cause of most unhappiness in life. The craving, gross or subtle, making it cling to life and thus, leads us forever wandering in samsara.
most coarse forms of craving is somewhat reduced when the prime failure Da Ham results (Japanese), second floor of the church floor, and only be eradicated when having achieved Ham (Real Lai), sacred story Tuesday. These subtle forms of craving are eradicated completely successful director when Arahatship.
Knowing first true Truth (DUKKHA) lead to extinction (pahatabba) craving. Then the second Truth (The Empire) refers to a mental attitude of ordinary people to senses. Truth Tuesday (Noble) is the complete cessation of all forms of suffering, or Nirvana, the ultimate goal of Buddhists. Nirvana may be the main achievements in this lifetime, by the destruction of all forms of craving. Nirvana is right insight (sacchikatabba) by spiritual vision, by stopping all attachment to the world outside.
DUKKHA - depending on where the call is being and the different shades of life - to be vigilant awareness, separation and observation (parinneyya). This observation led to general knowledge pertinent to our own.
causes of suffering is craving or attachment (tanha). It is the Noble Truth, the second Noble Truth.
Dhammapada write:
"Because being depressed craving. Due born craving fear. complete end he no longer desires sorrow, fear less" . (V. 216)
Buddha taught that craving leads to the birth-and death-birth, constantly, forever (ponobhavika, leading to rebirth). Sanskrit this is worth noting because some scholars believe that the Buddha did not teach reincarnation theory. Noble Truth indirect mention past lives, present and future.
Noble, Tuesday Truths, to be realized by developing (bhavetabba) Eightfold Path (magga Ariyatthangika, the Noble Eightfold Path) . Eightfold Path is the only path leading right to stroll through Nirvana and also the final Truths - True Path - the Four Noble Truths.
Having explained the Four Noble Truths meticulously and articulately, Germany Buddhist Sermon concludes with the following strong words: "This, O Bhikkhus, on which absolute knowledge as to the Tathagata of Four under three and twelve-tone method [1], has not been entirely clear, then, until then, did not confirm that the Tathagata Tathagata has realized the Supreme supreme Buddha (anuttara sammasambodhi).
"When absolute knowledge as to the Tathagata, becomes the Four Noble full light, just as long as he, confirm that the new Tathagata Tathagata has realized the Supreme supreme Buddha.
"And then arises knowledge and wisdom: Heart of the Tathagata has fully liberated a solid, not shake, and this is the last life, not any other life. "
When the French ended, Kondanna (Kondanna), the most senior disciple of the first five, insight Dharma and attained Tu Da Huon, first floor of the four storey church. He realized that something was born that must pass away - Yam kinci samudayadhammam sabbam tam nirodha-dhammam.
transfer time Falun Buddha, gods on earth acclaim:
"Falun Gong is truly amazing! not are recluses, brahmins, devas, Mara or Brahma on earth can be preached. Exalted Falun shipped in Deer Suppose, at Isipatana, near Benares (Varanasi). "
Hearing this Brahma gods and beings in all other realms of cheering in unison.
A halo that shines brightly illuminated world, clearer aura of many gods.
making light of Dhamma shows that whole folklore status and bring peacefulness and happiness to all beings.
First sermon of the Buddha
Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta
(Sutra Zhuan Falun)
L Australia that I have heard something like this: (Sutra Zhuan Falun)
One time and that, while seated Buddha at Deer assumed [2], Isipatana origin [3], near Benares, he taught five Bhikkhus as follows:
"this question of Pi Qiu, with the two extremes (anta) in which goods (pabbajitena) should avoid:
1. - The sensual filed under the - is vile, vulgar, profane, unworthy saint's virtues, and useless.Abandoning that both extremes, the Tathagata [4] have realized "Middle Path" (Majjhima Patipada), is the way to bring perspective (cakkhu) and knowledge (nana) and leads to peace (vupasamaya) [ 5], supreme wisdom (abhinnaya) [6], enlightenment (sambhodhaya) [7], and Nirvana.
2. - The passionate attachment style asceticism - is painful , does not deserve the dignity of the saint, and useless.
"this question of Bhikkhus, the middle way realized that Tathagata, giving way mark agency, knowledge and lead to peace, supreme wisdom, enlightenment and Nirvana What is
the Noble Eightfold Path That (eight more road) - the Right View (samma ditthi), Right Thought (samma samkappa), Right Speech (samma vaca), Right Action (samma kammanta), Right Livelihood (samma ajiva), Right Effort (samma vayama), Right Mindfulness (samma sati), and Right Concentration (samma samadhi)., O is the Bhikkhus, it is "Middle Path" which enlightened Tathagata. Ai, with eager longing heart, cling to one or the other (life). It is Ai, hangs upon sensual (kamatanha), love hangs upon survival (bhavatanha, born craving, attachment to the idea that the universe is eternal permanence), and love, hangs upon the existential (vibhavatanha, unborn craving, craving for attention idea that death is nothingness.)
Now, this O monks, is the Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering (dukkha-nirodha-ariyasacca, suffering Removal Noble .) It is completely alienated and cessation of the heart's desires. It is the left, rejection, escapism and detachment from craving attention.
Now, this O monks, is the Noble Truth of the Path leading to the cessation of suffering (dukkha-nirodha-Gamini-patipada-ariya-sacca, Director of suffering Noble .)
It is the Noble Eightfold Path: Right Understanding, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness and Right Concentration

When, this O monks, absolute knowledge as Out of the four legal Tathagata Noble, less than three and twelve-tone method, had become completely clear, just as long as he, the Tathagata certified before new world of gods, Mara and Brahma , among them recluses, brahmins, God and man, that the Tathagata has realized the Supreme supreme Buddha

A halo that shines brightly, illuminating the world, clearer aura of many gods. Buddha said: "Kondanna results realized, realized Kondannna results."
So he called Annata Kondannna Kondannna.

Some Observations on the Economic Zhuan Falun1. Buddhism is based on personal experience. thus reasonable Buddhism, is not just a theory based on reflection and mere logic.
2. Buddha away from the ideology of that time powerful and presents a "Middle Path", entirely due to him finding out and not rely on anyone's argument.
3. Buddhism is a path or Tao (magga).
4. Knowledge reasoning is relevant to the key point of Buddhism.
5. Blind faith is excluded, no place in Buddhism.
6. Buddhism emphasizes the importance of practice, rather than focusing on beliefs and dogma. Trust is not empty into dogma can lead to liberation.
7. Rite and ritual, is considered important in the Vedic (Veda), plays no role in Buddhism.
8. No Spirit subservient to man to fear.
9. There is no space between the middle class and the Spirit to be timid man.
10. About (sila), concentration (samadhi), wisdom (panna) is essential to achieve the goal - Nirvana.
11. The foundation of Buddhism is the Four Noble Truths (Four Noble Truths) can be verified by experience.
12. The Four Noble Truths are bonded to humans.
13th. Four Noble Truths was discovered by the Buddha and he has found himself, not for anyone. The spokesman's statement: "The Four Noble Truths not heard."
14. Already Truth can not change with time.
15th. Suffering God, truth first, referring to the composition of the ego, or the so-called individual, and the different stages of life. These components need to be separated, scrutiny and observation. This observation leads to an understanding of its true.
16th. The first insight Truth (DUKKHA) logically leads to the cessation of suffering, truth second. God refers to the psychological attitude of the ordinary for a foreign country.
17th. Second Truth (The Empire) is related to a strong capacity always latent within each person.
18th. The powerful mental energy it - craving - is the cause of all misfortunes in life.
19th. Noble Truth refers indirectly to a past life, present and future who.
20th. Thus, the existence of long chains of existence was justified Buddha.
21. Therefore, karmic justice, a corollary of the doctrine of rebirth, at the same time, also included mention.
22. Truth is the first two in that, of the world (lokiya). Third Truth - the cessation of suffering - although depending on where we, as superpower (lokuttara) and transcends beyond morality.
23. Third Noble - pure self-consciousness - is a law (dhamma) to get insight in spiritual vision (sacchikatabba.)
24. The Truth - Noble - must be realized by the complete transcendence. This is not the case rejected the external sense objects, get rid of everything that is inside the attachment to the world outside.
25. Noble is accomplished by completely eradicated all attachment. But it must be noted that if only one is to eradicate mental energy that (lesbian) is not enough to realize Nibbana, the third Truth, as such, Nirvana will mean nothing. However, to be successful stroll through eradicated by that power for itself bound beings in the world (three worlds: Education, Form and Formless.)
26. Nirvana is not created (uppadetabba) that must be reached (pattaba). Nirvana can be accomplished even in this present life. Thus, it can be understood that although the doctrine of rebirth is essential in Buddhism, the ultimate goal of Buddhism is to end rebirth - not in the future depends, as can be accomplished in this lifetime .
27. Third Noble must be accomplished by cultivating and developing base Wednesday.
28. To eradicate a powerful capacity (craving) should apply and develop effective eight factors (Eightfold Path).
29. All eight elements are spiritual.
30. Eight powerful mental energy and nature-friendly way, must be focused to overturn a persistent evil power latent within us.
31. Absolutely pure, completely freed from constant birth and death process, the mind is no longer caught a bit of pollution, immortal status (Amata), is the blessing comes with a great victory.
32. Could it be this liberation is perfect or absolute purity?
latter view is more appropriate.
33. In each case, one can raise the question: What is Perfect? Absolutely pure What is
not a being or a homogeneous entity and the survival of Buddhism that only one stream of consciousness as a stream of water is always flowing.
As such, rather, we should say that stream of consciousness has been purified, becomes completely eradicated by pure and eliminate all pollution.
Teaching Second
Anattalakkhaṇa Sutta
(Discourse on)
[12]
M ot time and that, while seated Buddha at Deer Suppose, Isipitana origin, near Benares (Varanasi). He opened the year group teaching Bhikkhu: "Behold, O monks". (Discourse on)
[12]
"Blessed Caper", in the answer.
then Buddha taught as follows:
"O Bhikkhus, color (rupa) is non-self (anatta, no soul). O Bhikkhus, if there is no soul in [13], the color does not suffer. 'Lust should like this or this color is not like other 'similar cases can occur., but because the soul has no color should have to suffer and can not be the case (in order):' It is not like this or like that ' .
"In the same way, feeling (vedana), perception (Sanna), onions (samkhāra) and informal (viňňāna) [14] are selfless.
"Therefore, O monks think how this excellent permanent or impermanent ?
- White Buddha, impermanence (anicca.)
- What is impermanent suffering or happiness?
- White Buddha, is suffering (dukkha).
- So, if the budget is reasonable to think that something impermanence, suffering and precarious with the idea: 'This is mine, this is mine, this is my self?' [15]
- Bach Exalted, is certainly unreasonable.
- In the same way, this O monks, sensation, perception, consciousness are impermanent and suffering. therefore reasonable to assume reasonable to impermanent, unsatisfactory and temporary with the idea: 'This is mine, this is mine, this is my self?'
- White Buddha, is certainly unreasonable.
- So this dear Bhikkhus, all colors, oil in the past, present or future, inside or outside scenes, coarse or subtle, inferior or lofty, far or near, must be aware with knowledge true as they really are: 'This is not mine (n'etam mama.) This is not me (n'eso h'amasmi), this is not my self' (na me so atta ). '
All sensation, perception, consciousness, and oil in the past, the present or the future, inside or outside scenes, coarse or subtle, inferior or lofty, far or near, all right be aware of the true knowledge according to its minister: 'This is not mine, this is not me, this is not my self'.
"Noble disciple smoothly so that learning boring form, feeling, perception, consciousness - get rid of non-attachment that is not desirable and therefore getting rid of it, free. Knowledge then becomes clear: 'I am free'. He understood that the birth and death has ended, the holy life has been accomplished, what needs to be done has been completed fullness, not back to this state again.
"Blessed explaining such , and the monk who I am happy, praising his teachings. "
When the Buddha finished the French, in the center of Bhikkhus have become completely pure, no longer little pollution. [16]
